Beth McDonald, LGPC

Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor

Welcome from Beth McDonald, MA

 (she/her/hers)

Beth McDonald holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University.  Prior to earning her master's, Beth earned a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from Wheaton College. Over her previous career as a teacher, she gained experience teaching middle school English, providing academic coaching, and mentoring adults in various settings.

Everyone, including you (and your partner), deserves a space to feel seen, heard, and understood. With a collaborative approach, Beth seeks to create a safe environment where individuals and couples can explore and transform their stories, finding healing and integration. Working from an attachment theory lens, she provides strategic, practical, and holistic support while facilitating a deeper inward journey to the core issues. Beth integrates client-centered therapy, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and attachment theory with cognitive behavioral (CBT) and mindfulness techniques.. During sessions, you (and your partner) will gain tools to practice in your daily life to reduce anxiety and depression and build a better connection and understanding of your emotional self and needs. Whether a couple, individual, adult or adolescent, Beth enjoys working with clients to tackle relationship issues, life transitions, anxiety, grief, depression, and spirituality.

In addition to being a counselor, Beth is a partner, mother, and grandmother to a dearly loved and growing family. You can find her sipping a good cup of coffee with a friend, hiking a trail with her husband, devouring a novel, or simply enjoying time with her family in her spare time.
