Welcome from Kaelyn Betterton, BS (she/her/hers)

Kaelyn graduated from the University of Maryland-College Park with a Bachelors degree in
Psychology. She is currently completing her final year of graduate school, pursuing a Masters in
Social Work at the University of Maryland-Baltimore.
Kaelyn is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of others through a strength-based approach to
therapy. With a deep understanding of how life experiences influence responses to trauma, she is
particularly interested in supporting individuals with anxiety disorders, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

 

While she enjoys working with clients of all ages, she has a special interest in helping children and adolescents, drawing from her extensive experience with these groups. Kaelyn is devoted to creating a safe space for empathy, healing, and personal growth for everyone she works with.

In her spare time, Kaelyn loves to immerse herself in nature and read fantasy novels, finding
both to be powerful tools for self-care and healing.
